I figure I'll start writing more journals, just to get things off my mind.

So it feels like all/most the art teachers I've had have liked me, I don't mean in a teacher's-pet kinda way. They seem to think I do exceptional work. Which is funny, because half the time, the work I turn in, I don't even like it, or I don't think it's finished or it's not up to my standards. But that just makes me wonder how much I could accomplish if I actually dedicated finishing my work so it's up to my standards. I'd be way more proud of myself I think...
Or maybe it's just know how art classes go, since I've taken sooo many...I can whip up decent things in little time...
Here's an overview of 5 & 1/2 years...
Highschool:
Ceramics 1, 2, 3 & art studio
Design
Drawing
Painting
Advanced Drawing/Painting
Art studio drawing/painting
Photography 1 & 2
Graphics
(Interior design & Clothing and fashion 1 & 2 if you count those..)
College:
Art Appreciation
Drawing
Painting
Ceramics
2D Design
20 art classes... that's an average of about 4/year. O_o
It feels like so many, yet at the same time, not enough XD
I could take art classes the rest of my life and be happy.
My mom told me a story this morning about how when I was really little, most kids just took a marker and scribbled across the entire page.... She said I took markers and made little tiny designs/markings or whatever. And that I also taught myself to write my name when I was 3. I never heard either of those stories before.
Then, of course, she retold the story of my first word. haha. I was 15 months and my mom was worried, because I hadn't started talking yet. Then one day she came upstairs to her room and I was sitting at the foot of the bed playing with one of my brother's Batmobiles, pushing it back and forth saying "Batmaaan.... Batmaan".
What an odd kid I was. XD
I guess that explains my oddities nowadays. ^_^

-A rabbit heart-we raise it up-
I'm actually starting to consider web design. I never really thought about it before, but there's a class at my college and I figure I'll try it out and see if it's something I enjoy.
Magazine layouts is a good suggestion. No one's ever suggested that to me before. It's always "be a graphic designer or photographer" lol. Not taht there's anything wrong with those. ^_^
Thanks for the comment, sorry for the slow response
